Welcome! I’m glad you found your way here.
This blog has been around for some time and it has changed as my life has changed. For most of its existence, this blog was a place where I shared my thoughts on travel, education, global and personal happenings, and my quest to make the world a more peaceful place. Since becoming a parent, the focus has somewhat shifted; the themes are smaller in scope, but the emphasis on love, learning, and life remains. Hopefully something resonates with you and leaves you thinking.
Through being a teacher, I’ve had wonderful opportunities to learn, travel, practice photography, and interact with people who have had profound impacts on the way I see the world. I’ve lived and worked in New York, Malaysia, and Singapore, and am currently teaching at an international school in Germany. This is my last stop on the international school train, and I am so grateful to have landed here.
I love blogging because it allows me to engage in open, honest conversation with you, the reader. There would be no blog if not for you and I love hearing what you think and what you have to say. I welcome your comments on any posts, or there’s a contact page if that’s preferable.
Thanks for reading and for journeying along with me.
PS Here’s the copyright part: All text and images on this blog belong to me, unless noted otherwise. Thanks!

You’re doing really well; your project is coming along so nicely. As someone only 19 days in to my 365 I can honestly say you’re doing great.
